Need to take advantage of the great weather and wash the rest of the car before it starts to really dump.

A good wash and sealant will certainly aid keeping it clean for longer and aid cle aning when it does start to show it.

I have to have the rear quarter panel replaced anyway, would you recommend a quick spray wax for now?

A spray wax is okay. I’m more into my sealants, primarily Si02 based sealants such as CarPro Reload, Hydro2Lite and HydroFoam, Gyeon Wetcoat and Cure, Gtechniq C2v3, etc... all are either spray on a pressure rinse to activate or standalone sealants that can be used as sea l ants, drying aids or quick detailers.

I did a neighbour’s car yesterday, it was pretty clean  so simply pressure rinsed the car from dust and debris, snow foamed CarPro HydroFoam on (which is a shampoo and sealant, use on a car which is lightly soiled or wash with a regular shampoo for more heavily soiled and then HydroFoam for sealing), then pressure rinse off and dry or use Cure, C2v3, Reload, etc... as a drying aid to dry.
